Think CUNA Mutual
We are seeking an uncommon professional to join our Life & Health
Product team as an Assistant Actuary. The primary purpose of this role
is to assist in the analysis of product performance including modifying,
running, maintaining and testing pricing, financial projection or
valuation software.
You must bring to the table:
- 4 year degree plus 3-5 exams
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in an insurance setting with emphasis
on a specific line of business or actuarial function (e.g. pricing or
valuation)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and understand complex models and
create new models
- Sound communication skills including the ability to relate technical
concepts to non-technical audiences in an informal setting
- Ability to write basic actuarial reports
- Ability to handle multiple tasks & meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Open to position location in either Madison, WI or our Waverly, IA
campus.
